Ranneko Plays Trying to Get Feedback 2017-07-21

I am still seeking feedback on the proposed new schedule. If I get myself organised I could potentially move to the new version early next month.

Here is the schedule I am currently angling toward:
Mon/Wed/Fri: Long Game Slot
Tuesday: Tips
Thurs/Sun: Shorter Game or Oneshot
Sat: Syfro Saturdays

The current schedule is:

Saturday: Syfro Saturdays – Ranneko and Syfro Play Thimbleweed Park
Sundays: Ranowned Explorers: International Society
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: Ranneko Plays Massive Chalice
Tuesday and Thursday: Torment: Tides of Ranmenera

I really don’t enjoy the flashback method that Thimbleweed park uses to introduce new characters, it always seems to be an extended sequence that breaks us away from whichever puzzle we were trying to actually solve at the time. It almost feels like these characters were thought up later and jammed in as part of a stretch goal, but I just checked and they were all part of the original pitch.

The non-violent combat in this game can get very strange. This episode we successfully deride and nag nuns until they give in and turn over the artefact that they are meant to be protecting.

We are are now past the halfway mark. We now slowly start getting the advanced forms of the cadence replacing the older, crappier models. Each advanced cadence not only has better stats, but also has a trait or skill that often are the same ones that heroes can obtain through personality traits or training. The bulwarks are the first and well timed since often level 5 or 6 heroes can oneshot the less advanced form.

Awesome, it is the lab that used to be used during the tidal attunement stage of character creation. I knew they would find a use for it elsewhere and I am still glad that they stripped down the tutorial/character creation as it was already surprisingly lengthy.
