I am on holiday. The trip actually only kicked off yesterday, but understandably I’m not exactly able to keep updating and recording videos while I am away. As I have mentioned in the posts for the previous weeks it has taken a fair amount of preparation but at this point, the channel should pretty much just play itself. Videos releasing at midday every day, automatically tweeting out and adding themselves to the appropriate playlists. The marvels of the built-in YouTube scheduling and playlist systems.
This week I finish Ranless Sea and put a pause of Pillars of Ranternity, that means next week you will see some changes to the schedule. In the Monday/Friday slot I will be fighting the alien overlords in The Ransistance (you can sign up to become a soldier here. On Wednesdays I revisit my favourite game from 2015 and play through Massive Chalice for the first time since I wrapped up my Massive Tips series.
The current schedule is:
Saturday: Syfro Saturdays – Ranneko and Syfro Play Pit People
Sundays: Ranowned Explorers: International Society
Monday and Friday: Pillars of Ranternity
Tuesday and Thursday: Torment: Tides of Ranmenera
Wednesday: The Ranless Sea: Zubmariner
Syfro Saturdays – Ranneko and Syfro Play Pit People
For some reason, the arrow leading back to your home base only briefly pops up after finishing a quest right now and the overland map is surprisingly large. Syfro and I very nearly run out of space and troops finding our way home.
Ranowned Explorers: International Society
We have made it back to Mali, can we do better than last time? I think I have a better grip on what to attempt, and what to hold back from, but there is always an amount of luck involved.
Pillars of Ranternity
We finish up the first part of White March, encountering a few unexpected minor bugs on the way. Overall it felt much more difficult and less fun than the main campaign. I hate dealing with paralysis, the only good method of handling it I have found is a high-level spell that makes my party immune, half measures have proved ineffective. But this renders so many fights binary: Spell available? Cakewalk, Spell out? Party wipe.
Torment: Tides of Ranmenera
We pick up what I am intending to be the final member of our group. A jack named Matkina, it feels almost anti-climactic to meet up with her now. I was completely stumpted trying to find her for a very long time in one of my early access runs. If don’t learn how to speak Sticha it complicates an entire series of intertwined quests.
Ranless Sea: Zubmariner
Our victory is assured, we merely need to gather a few materials and then we can assault the walls of the city itself. The revolution is coming! Liberté! Égalité! Éternité!
