Ranneko Plays Games – Channel Update 2017-05-05

My buffer is shrinking disconcertingly quickly. I now am covered for daily episodes through to the 15th of May with only a small amount of unedited videos to help extend things. I need to find the motivation to sit and record more. What doesn’t help is the complete lack of feedback on the new schedule. My attempts to get it so far have proven unsuccessful and the only other metrics I have to go on aren’t exactly ideal. Since the release of Torment: Tides of Numenera my view count has dwindled dramatically and many of my new videos are being almost completely ignored. I would love to know why. Are the games just no longer fresh? Am I putting out too many videos? Should I take a break or change the format. I really need some human feedback here, not just numbers without much context.

The current schedule is:

Saturday: Syfro Saturdays – My Mom is a Witch
Sundays: Ranowned Explorers: International Society
Monday and Friday: Pillars of Ranternity
Tuesday and Thursday: Torment: Tides of Ranmenera
Wednesday: The Ranless Sea: Zubmariner

We are starting to make progress, primarily based on the murder of shopkeepers. Ah shopkeepers are there roguelike games where you shouldn’t end up murdering them and taking their precious wares?

We have made it back to Mali. This time I will avoid antagonising giant apes and stick to the main quest. Surely that can’t go too far wrong?

Pillars of Ranternity

We are finally inside Durgan’s Battery, I am pretty sure the first part of this DLC will finish once we complete this dungeon, but why did all those Dwarves die in the first place? And what threats still remain?

In Torment there is a mental labyrinth that you access every time you die, there is also a minor quest in Sagus Cliffs initiated through dying, but I just cannot seem to trigger it now. As a result this week sees me try to find non-combat methods of dying in Sagus Cliffs.

I have pretty much the best possible ship and gear in this game and my stats mean that I can pass almost any check without major risks. It is time to deliberately court terror and get my revenge on The Constant Companion that doomed my previous captain. Come get me my arachnid friend. I am ready for you.
